I love the steeldrum, the National instrument of my country, Trinidad and Tobago and the Carnival celebrations that was its genesis. I relish the opportunity to view these orchestras live, often captivated by the musicians and spectators alike. This painting was inspired by the passion and excitement associated with pulsating rhythm of this percussive instrument.
